Based on a philosophical approach the student will learn the importance of protecting individual freedom through the proper use of cryptography and tools that strengthen their privacy as well as the origins of Bitcoin that are based on this legacy, i.e., creating technologies that empower people against surveillance. In a world where information is increasingly accessible, it is important to understand and raise awareness of the importance of privacy as a silent tool to protect individual rights.
